Antigonish County Warden Russell Boucher dies at age 65

The Municipality of Antigonish County is mourning the loss of one its long-time municipal leaders.
County Warden Russell Boucher died suddenly yesterday.  He was 65.
Boucher had been a member of council since 1985.  He became Warden following the retirement of Herb Delorey from Municipal Politics in 2012.
Antigonish Mayor Laurie Boucher says she was shocked to hear about the passing of Russell. Laurie says that Russell was well liked by people from around the Antigonish area:

Russell Boucher previously served as a member of the school board, and was an electrician by trade. He was also a retired instructor at the Strait Area Campus.
