In 2008, she received the New Artist of the Year Opus Prize and was named Young Soloist by the Public Francophone Radios. She was also awarded the title Révélation Radio-Canada Musique 2008-2009. Marianne Fiset has been heard in numerous productions of the Opéra de Montréal. Winner of three prizes at the prestigious Munich ARD International Music Competition (Germany) in September 2005, young horn-player Louis-Philippe Marsolais was also an award-winner in other major competitions, including Geneva (Switzerland), Rovereto (Italy) and Trévoux (France). Having filled significant roles with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony and the Québec City Symphony Orchestra, Louis-Philippe is a much sought-after soloist and chamber musician. His success on national and international stages has seen him perform throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Louis-Philippe’s second solo recording, with pianist David Jalbert, was released on the ATMA label in May 2009. Over the past several years, many of his concerts and recitals have been broadcast by Radio-Canada/Espace Musique, CBC, la Radio de la Suisse Romande and the Bayerischer Rundfunk. Louis-Philippe Marsolais is now a member and the artistic director of the Montréal-based ensemble Pentaèdre Wind Quintet.

Pianist Michael McMahon is the preferred partner of many of Canada’s finest singers. He has performed regularly throughout Canada, Europe, Japan and the United States with singers such as Catherine Robbin, Karina Gauvin, Measha Brueggergosman, Wendy Nielsen, Maureen Forester, and Richard Margison. Following his studies at McGill University in Montréal, he completed his musical education in Vienna at the Hochschule für Musik und darstellende Kunst and the Franz Schubert Institute, and in Salzburg at the Mozarteum. During this time, he studied with such legendary artists as Erik Werba, Hans Hotter, Elly Ameling, Jörg Demus, and Kim Borg. In addition to his active performing schedule, Michael McMahon is a Professor at the Schulich School of Music of McGill University in Montréal. He has had long associations with l’Atelier lyrique de L’Opéra de Montréal, Opera Nuova, the Orford Arts Centre and the Banff Centre for the Arts, where he has worked regularly as a vocal coach. He is also often asked to give Masterclasses for singers and pianists, and recently was resident coach at the Franz Schubert Institute in Austria and the C.O.S.I. Summer Opera program in Italy.
He has made numerous broadcast recordings for the English and French networks of the CBC, as well as for the BBC, RBTF, Radio Suisse Romande, and Radio France.
