Friday June 25th at Columbus Field, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Antigonish held their first ever M&M Meats Appreciation BBQ. It was a big success with hundreds coming out, and they have big reason to celebrate.

• Bowl for Kids Sake 2010 raised over $40,000
• In-School Mentoring continues to grow… now serving 70 children at St Andrews Jr. School and Antigonish Education Center
• Bigs & Littles matches have more than doubled with 32 children currently enrolled.
• We are thrilled to have our first “Couples Match” in Antigonish.

Mentoring is about the power of friendship. The volunteers and young people in our programs experience the magic of everyday moments when they are shared with a friend. Everyone needs someone to laugh with, share a dream with, and just hang out… with friends it’s the little things that mean the most.
