Friday June 25th at Columbus Field, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Antigonish held their first ever M&M Meats Appreciation BBQ. It was a big success with hundreds coming out, and they have big reason to celebrate.
- Bowl for Kids Sake 2010 raised over $40,000
- In-School Mentoring continues to grow… now serving 70 children at St Andrews Jr. School and Antigonish Education Center
- Bigs & Littles matches have more than doubled with 32 children currently enrolled.
- We are thrilled to have our first “Couples Match” in Antigonish.
Share a Little Magic.
Mentoring is about the power of friendship. The volunteers and young people in our programs experience the magic of everyday moments when they are shared with a friend. Everyone needs someone to laugh with, share a dream with, and just hang out… with friends it’s the little things that mean the most.
Give a kid a chance.
