Former Hockey X-Men Nathan Chiarlitti receives award from Montreal Canadiens

A former St. FX men’s hockey standout has received a prestigious award through one of hockey’s most storied franchises. Every year, the Montreal Canadians present the Guy Lafleur Award of Excellence and Merit to amateur level players who show exceptional performance on the ice and academically.
Nathan Chiarlitti spent three seasons with the X-Men before heading to McGill University this past season. Nathan volunteers in various initiatives, including the ParticipACTION, a minor hockey mentorship program, the Best Buddies program and takes part in the Thyroid Oncology Research at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, in Halifax.
