With May being more than half over, we also are seeing provincial election campaigning winding down. The PC candidate for Inverness, however, is still busy knocking on doors and hearing from residents.
Allan MacMaster says every election he has been a part of so far has been unique, as are the concerns from residents. This year, MacMaster says road maintanence is the frontrunning issue that he hears about while knocking on doors:
Local health care is also a concern through the Inverness are that MacMaster has represented since 2009. MacMaster says many residents are frustrated that they have to travel more than two hours for essential treatments.
