Local MLA’s take on key critic roles in the PC Opposition Caucus

Several local MLA’s have been appointed to key roles as PC Leader Jamie Baillie announced the Official Opposition’s critic responsibilities today.
Pictou Centre MLA Pat Dunn will be party’s Deputy Leader, and will be the critic for the Public Service Commission and African Nova Scotian Affairs.
Pictou West MLA Karla MacFarlane will monitor Justice, Attorney General and Military Relations.  MacFarlane will also be the caucus chair.  Inverness MLA Allan MacMaster will chair the Public Accounts Committee and will be the party’s critic in Energy, Service Nova Scotia and Gaelic Affairs.
Pictou East MLA Tim Houston will sit on the Public Accounts Committee and will be the critic for Finance, the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation, and Regulatory Affairs and Service Effectiveness.  Richmond MLA Alana Paon will watch Business, Trade, Tourism Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Business Incorporated and Innovacorp.
