Lots of interactive activities planned for Antigonish County’s Canada Day Celebrations

There will be lots of fun family activities as the County of Antigonish celebrates Canada Day.  Outdoor activities will take place from 12 noon to five behind Saint Andrew Junior School.  Gabe O’Brien with the County Recreation Department says activities include games for the children, face painting, air brush tattooing, sugar on snow, bounce tents, and creation of balloon animals.  O’Brien says there will also be live entertainment.
Antigonish Culture Alive will also be involved.   Rachel Power with Antigonish Culture Alive says there will be five interactive installations from 1 to 4 p.m. including balloon art.

Other activities from ACA include building human scale in clay and spoken word performance.
