It wasn’t the return one NASCAR Hall of Famer imagined when he decided to travel to Nova Scotia this weekend. Mark Martin was entered in this weekends IWK 250, and had a slew of problems all weekend, resulting in an early exit in the main feature.
Martin cut a tire and hit the wall early in practice on Saturday afternoon, and was involved in an accident early in the race. Martin says Riverside Speedway is a fantastic venue, and he enjoyed his time in the Antigonish area:
Dylan Blenkhorn took home the checkered flag for the annual IWK 250 after a dominating performance. Cole Butcher came home second and Craig Slaunwhite rounding out the podium.
