MP Sean Fraser miffed with Oppostion Parties over delays on Atlantic Immigration Study

A local MP is none too pleased with some shenanigans going on in the nation’s capitol. MP for Central Nova, Sean Fraser is bothered by delays from the PC and NDP parties who are attempting to filibuster progress on an Atlantic Immigration study taking place in Ottawa.

 

Fraser accuses the parties of stalling progress, meaning that witnesses who flew into Ottawa are not given a chance to partake in the study.

 

Fraser feels as if members of the opposition are not supporting efforts within the Atlantic Provinces, mostly because the opposition does not have backing through the region:

 

 

 

Fraser thinks the study is imperative for the success of the Atlantic Growth Strategy, which has an immigration plan to bring in 6000 immigrant families to the region.
