The Town of New Glasgow is ready to celebrate Canada Day – 24 hours early. The Town will be holding their celebrations on Friday night in order to not compete with the neighbouring town, Westville.
Director of Marketing and Communications for New Glasgow, Kim Dickson, says Friday will be jammed pack from start to finish. The day will feature a street fair, a new water park for children, an ice cream social with the Mayor, and great local music:
Events kick off at 10:00 AM and continue all day until the fireworks at 10:00 PM. Dickson says residents will see many cultural events throughout the summer, as the town continues to celebrate Canada 150 all year.
