Ontario couple charged for a rash of vehicle thefts across Nova Scotia, including Guysborough and Antigonish

A Windsor, Ontario couple have been charged in connection with multiple vehicle thefts throughout Nova Scotia. 37-year-old Cory Lee Oickle and 27-year-old Taylor Erin Burgess were taken into custody on Thursday. The couple were driving a stolen vehicle in Bridgewater.

The pair have also been linked to thefts across the province including Tantallon, Stellarton, Guysborough and Antigonish.

Police say they had been stealing vehicles, as well as stealing items from unlocked vehicles.

Oickle faces twelve charges, including five counts of theft under $5,000, while Burgess faces three counts of the same charge, and nine charges total. Further charges may be forthcoming.
