Officials with the Cabot Links Golf Course say construction will begin soon on a new public access path at the north end of Inverness Beach.  With the new path , local residents and tourists will have direct access to the beach without crossing the golf course.  Cabot Links has worked with a variety of groups on developing a safe suitable path, including the community, the Inverness Development Association, the province and the Inverness County Municipality
Cabot Links General Manager Andrew Alkenbrack says completing the project is a top priority.
Alkenbrack says the access will be just north of the golf course on a stretch of land bordering on 17th tee and the 16th green of Cabot Links.
