Police stop another Motorist for Excessing Speeding

Police in Northeastern Nova Scotia are reporting officers have pulled over another lead footed motorist.

At around 9:30 Wednesday evening, RCMP Eastern Traffic Services observed a truck travelling at a very high rate of speed on the Cabot Trail. The vehicle was clocked at 155 km/h in a 80 km/hr zone, 75 km/hr over the posted speed limit.

The 26-year-old male driver from Margaree was charged for Stunting under the Provincial Motor Vehicle Act. In addition, his license was suspended for 7 days and his vehicle was seized. The fine for stunting in Nova Scotia is $2,422.50.
