The Regional Occupational Centre in Port Hawkesbury is growing.   The social enterprise will be renovating and expanding its current location.   Executive Director Diana Poirier says the ROC Centre currently operates with about 4-thousand square feet.  She says with the expansion it will be adding 34-hundred square feet.
Tenders are out now on the project and close next week.  It’s expected construction will begin on April first, with completion around November first.  The federal government is providing 500-thousand dollars towards the upgrade.  The ROC Centre has also approached the province for support.  The facility will also be launching a community campaign in the near future.
