The Province’s new Pre-Primary Program begins today, with all positions accounted for in the Strait Regional School Board. The Liberal government unveiled the new program on July 28th and many school boards have been scrambling to fill all positions necessary.
Deanna Gillis, Coordinator of Communications with the SRSB says that today will be an orientation day, with the play based curriculum kicking off tomorrow:
The six new locations in the board offering pre-primary have enrollment of 79 students. Gillis says the board has space and will welcome any 4 year olds who have not already registered into the program.
