July’s IWK 250 weekend promises to be incredible, and the Riverside Speedway announced another treat. On July 14, a race restored 1967 Chevelle driven by Maritime race legend Greg Stewart will be unveiled.
The car, which raced at Riverside Speedway in 1977 and won two IWK 250s will be at the track after a lengthy project to restore the car. It is the same car he drove to his first of many wins, a rookie of the year title, and his first three championships.
The race already features a star studded entry list of 39 cars, including NASCAR Hall of Famer, Mark Martin. Famous pit crew member, Chocolate Myers will also be in attendance.
