Richard MacKenzie resigns as coach and general manager of Junior B Bulldogs

Coach Richard MacKenzie of the Antigonish Jr. B Bulldogs has decided to step down as head coach and general manager for personal reasons. MacKenzie took the team to the first round of the playoffs this year, losing in 6 games against the Pictou County Scotians.
MacKenzie says deciding to leave the team has been a hard decision, but he is happy with the growth he has witnessed on ice and in the dressing room over the past 3 years. He says the team has great potential in the league:
The Bulldogs finished second in the Sid Rowe division this regular season after finishing last the previous year. MacKenzie says he would like to thank all the fans for the support over the years, and hopes for the continued success of the team.
