At last night’s Strait Regional School Board meeting, Superindendent Ford Rice discussed what was heard from the School Options Committee meetings held with different feeder system schools. Rice says the committee has received a great deal of public opinion from the meetings and is now looking at the next step.

For the Dr. JH Gillis Regional High School Feeder System Review, the SOC will file their report and recommendation by March 25. Rice says that the SOC does not have the ultimate say in regards to school closures:

The board will ultimately vote on a motion on the Dr. JH Gillis Regional High School Feeder System by April 30th.
