Snow, Russell elected to Mulgrave Council

Mulgrave has filled two vacant seats on its Town Council. The town is held Special Election on Saturday.

Tanya Snow and Bob Russell were elected. Snow had the most votes, garnering 150; four more than Russell. Third place finisher Michael Shaw had 103 votes. Voter turnout was low; 40.5 per cent of eligible voters cast ballots.

One council seat has been empty since municipal elections last fall. The other vacacancy is due to the recent resignation of councillor Evangeline Breen.
