A group of future leaders and entrepreneurs at St. FX University coordinated several unique projects on campus this year, that attracted some regional interest. The students are part of a group called Enactus, an international organization where students implement social entrepreneurial projects.
At a recent regional competition, the St. FX Enactus group was second runner up in the youth empowerment competition. Co-president Hannah Chisholm says their project was X-Den, an on-campus consignment shop in the Student’s Union Building.
The group’s highlight project this year was upgrading the existing on-campus garden. This year, almost 800 pounds of vegetables was grown and stored for the student food bank
