The Strait Pirates Junior B Hockey team has made some structural changes. At the team’s annual meeting last night, it was officially transformed into a community owned team.  Under the changes, you can be a voting member and owner of the team for one hundred dollars.
The Pirates new president Adam Rodgers says it’s an exciting time be be involved in the team, with a new energy.  At the AGM, the directors appointed Tim MacMillan as their new General Manager. He is a former GM and coach with the Pirates.  He’ll be assisted  by Brian Tracey and Brad Raike.  MacMillan says his first task is hiring a coach.
