The Town of Antigonish will be holding a public engagement event next month to discuss commercial fringe areas. The town has heard concerns from residents about high housing demands and are currently looking at new ways to address the housing strain.
Brynn Nheiley works with the town as Acting Director of Planning and Building Strategies. One plan being coined is to be more innovative in the use of commercial and housing spaces through the town. Adding flexibility to buildings through the town could tackle these problems:
Nheiley says everyone is encouraged to attend, especially entrepreneurs looking to expand their small business. The public engagement event will be held on Monday, April 10th in the Council Chambers at 6:00.
