X-Women Hockey’s Daley Oddy pleased with her experience representing Canada at the World University Games

St.FX hockey forward Daley Oddy has returned from Kazakhstan after playing in an international hockey tournament representing Canada. Oddy came home with the

silver medal after losing to Russia, 4-1 in the gold medal game. The tournament, the Universiade, is an opportunity for international competition between universities all around the world.

While silver was not the result that Oddy and team Canada wanted, she says the experience of playing for her country is one she won’t forget:

 

Oddy finished out the season on a high note for the X-Women, scoring a goal and adding three assists. X has their first playoff game against Dalhousie on Thursday night home at the Keating Centre at 7:00.
