St. FX University will officially confer degrees and diplomas to the graduating class of 2020
today. The University is planning an on-line event at 2 this afternoon where the academic medal winners will be announced and the official conferral video will be posted.
Spring Convocation is traditionally held the first Sunday in May.
However, there were some delays because of the transition to online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. That changed the end-of-term processing timeline and caused a delay in confirming graduates and the conferring of degrees.
The graduate list was posted earlier this week.
The 2020 class will celebrate their graduation next spring; May 7th to 9th, 2021; including a Xaverian Farewell, Parent’s Night at the Inn, Grads will walk across the stage and there will be a Grad Gala.
