seniors who have had some of their income clawed back after receiving pandemic support through the Canada Emergency Response Benefit. Fraser says the change meant some seniors who received CERB got less of their Guaranteed Income Supplement.
Fraser says it’s important that low income seniors are not put in a place where they cannot afford the basics because of the clawback to the Guaranteed Income Supplement.
