residents are moving forward. Recently a bill that implements many of the measures in the budget was passed in the House of Commons. Central Nova MP Sean Fraser says that includes a new mobility deduction for skilled trades workers.
Another measure grants 10 days paid sick leave for workers in federally regulated industries, and there’s a home accessibility tax credit to help seniors and people living with disabilities make home improvements. In Fraser’s Immigration portfolio, there’s a new measure that is better able to target specific needs in the Canadian labour force in selecting those who qualify for permanent residency.
