There was a book launch at the Antigonish Town and County Library on facing the challenges of a serious medical condition.

The book, written by Teresa Ferreiro-Vilarino is entitled “Navigate Cancer: Coaching for Resilience”. Ferreiro-Vilarino, a regular visitor to Antigonish, a cancer survivor, and leadership coach, says she was inspired to write the book following her own journey with cancer.
Ferreiro-Vilarino says the book also contains many insights she gained from her research towards her PhD degree. She says this is not a guidebook, memoir or manual; it’s about taking control and moving forward on your own terms.
Ferreiro-Vilarino says the book would also benefit people facing other adversities, and leaders on how to respond when an employee is facing cancer.
