New Glasgow Mayor Nancy Dicks said there will be plenty to do in New Glasgow this summer.
The mayor pointed to the Race on the River Pictou County Dragon Boat Festival set for July 17 and 18. Up next is the 30th edition of the Jubilee, New Glasgow’s music festival, beginning July 31.
She also mentioned a pair of downtown night markets, one in July and another in August, the Glasgow Square summer concert series, recreation department led events, and art in the park. Mayor Dicks said there is something for everyone, adding she is looking forward to a great summer.
