Another good result for Port Hawkesbury Antigonish Swim Team

The Port Hawkesbury Antigonish Swim Team, PHAST has sent 10 age group swimmers to the Long Course Development Meet #3 at Dalplaex this weekend, the squad took several top 10 finishes, and set 6 new team records, in a pool of over 300 swimmers! Hannah Austen set a new team record with an 9th in the 14 and over 800m Freestyle, swam to 6th place in the 50m Butterfly, and 4th in both the 200m & 50m Breaststroke! Mariah Austen set great new times in her first Long Course meet! Malcom Cameron took two first place finishes in the 50m, 100m and 200 m Breaststroke setting a new team record in the 100m Breaststroke and taking a 5th in the 200m Freestyle! Ava Hart stroked to two 3rd place finishes in the 50m & 200 m, and a 4th in the 100m Breaststroke, setting 2 new team records in the 50m & 200m Breaststroke!! Meghan Hayes recorded an 8th in the 200m Freestyle, 6th place finish in the 100m and 5th and a new team record in the 400 m Freestyle and 4th place in the 50m Backstroke! Matina Kanchanatip Swam to 6th in the 200m I.M. and 2nd in the 100m Butterfly, and the 50 m Freestyle! Ewan Mac Lean took 3rd in the 50 M Breaststroke and 50 m Backstroke! Jessica MacKinnon stroked to 5th in the 50m and 3rd in the 200m Freestyle, 2nd in the 50m and 1st in 200m Backstroke! Colleen MacLeod registered 10th in the 50m Breaststroke! Anna Robinson made her Senior N.S.  qualifying times by snagging 10th in the 200m I.M., set a new team record and took 7th place in the 12 and under 800m Freestyle, 5th in the 200m Backstroke, and 4th in the 400m Freestyle,  The women’s 13 and under relay team of Hannah Austen, Meghan Hayes, Matina Kanchanatip, and Anna Robinson placed 5th overall in the 4x50m Freestyle
