Another professional skate demo is coming to Antigonish.
On Saturday July 18, Santa Cruz Skateboards team members Tom Asta and Maurio McCoy will offer a free demonstration at the Antigonish Skatepark.

Jason Mason, owner of Next Level Skateboard Shop in Antigonish, last year helped bring Canadian Olympian Micky Papa and fellow pro skater Mike Piwowar for a demo . This year’s event will mark the fourth time professional skateboarders visited the park for an event .
Mason said seeing a professional on a skateboard in person helps show people what’s possible. This will start at 2 p.m., with the skaters riding the park for about two hours before autographs and pictures.
