chicken.

Steven  and Brian Eadie along with neighbour Joey MacVicar partnered with Eden Valley Poultry, a chicken processing company located in Berwick, to come up with Clydesdale Chicken, offering bagged frozen whole chicken by the 30 kilogram case. The idea was to offer the profits to the Antigonish Community Food Bank. Before they finished taking orders, Steven Eadie said he would donate $1,000 if they sold over 200 cases and Antigonish Farmers Mutual offered to match that contribution. After selling 235 cases of chicken, in under two weeks, the profits plus the contributions combined for a $10,386 donation to the food bank.

Steven said he was happy to help the food bank and thank them for all they do day to day.

Steven also thanked all of the customers, MacVicar for creating the Facebook site, and 989xfm for helping publicize the event.
