With the municipal election just a few days away, the warden said he is proud of how well the

current council worked together.
Antigonish County residents will go to the polls on Saturday with contests in Districts 2, 4, and 9. Following the current council’s meeting last night, Warden Owen McCarron reflected on the last four years at the table. McCarron said he is proud of how all of the members worked together and with outside councils and boards, noting they were able to see movement on a number of infrastructure projects, such as mobi mats at Pomquet Beach and upgrades to the courthouse.
As for the next four years, McCarron wants to build on the momentum from the previous four, and continue working with the Town of Antigonish and StFX.
McCarron said the county has a lot of things in the hopper moving forward.
