With STFX convocation ceremonies happening on Sunday, Antigonish RCMP are asking everyone to celebrate safely.
St. Sgt. Kim Hillier, with the Antigonish RCMP detachment, said police recognize as Convocation as a great time for celebration for graduates, adding police extend their congratulations to those grads.
Hillier said the RCMP enjoys a great relationship with the university. She said there tends to be a lot of local foot traffic in and around the town over convocation weekend.
