Antigonish RCMP say the Beech Hill Intersection is closed in all four directions because of a fatal 
multi-vehicle crash this morning. Police were called to the scene around 7:17 this morning. RCMP say three vehicles were involved; it began as a two vehicle collision, and a third became part of the pile-up.
Police say one person has died in the crash.
A traffic reconstructionist has been called to the scene.
Motorists are advised to use Highway 104 as an alternate route.
RCMP expect the intersection will be re-opened to traffic around one this afternoon.
