An annual Christmas Toy Drive in Antigonish Town and County is winding down
For the past month, the St. Andrews and Antigonish Councils of the Knights of Columbus have been accepting donations at Market Square, the donations have been used to provide gift cards to families in need at Christmas.

One of the organizers of the Toy Drive Plus, Clarence DeYoung says the community once again was extremely generous this year. However, he says more families were seeking help this Christmas.
DeYoung says the number of families seeking help was up about 40 per cent from last year.
DeYoung says they anticipated an increase but not this high.
