Antigonish Town council voted to grant a funding request from CACL Antigonish.

CACL executive Director Jeff Teasdale asked for a grant of $6,500 in a letter to council dated August 19.
Mayor Laurie Boucher said council was happy to help with the funding.
In the letter, Teasdale explained the effects of COVID-19 left the CACL looking at a year-end deficit between $42,000 and $100,000, noting while they are making masks, they also had to cancel 17 events over the summer.
