Antigonish Town Council is asking to staff to reach out to the committee for the upcoming Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition to discuss water. Antigonish Mayor Sean Cameron said, with mandatory water restrictions in place, the town is looking at the possibility of bringing in a tanker truck to support the exhibition and provide water for the animals.
When asked if this would be at the cost of the town, Cameron said that would be negotiated.
