The majority of Nova Scotia Students are returning to in-class learning today and the head of the Strait Regional Centre for Education says local schools will be ready to receive them.
Paul Landry, regional executive director of education for the SRCE, said staff across the region spent the last few days preparing for the transition. He says they are excited to welcome back students for the rest of the school year.
Landry said they haven’t heard any major concerns with the transition, adding he feels staff will be happy to see students again. Landry says grades 9-12 will finish regular classes on June 11 with a week of finals to follow, while pre-primary to grade 8 will attend until June 28, with the last day of School being June 30.
