The Atlantic Sires Stakes three-year-old pacing fillies put on an impressive show at Inverness Raceway on Sunday afternoon, with one filly taking new lifetime mark.

West River Ambyr crossed the finish line in 1:58.2, earning a new lifetime mark for owner-driver-trainer Clare MacDonald of Antigonish, NS and co-owner Haley MacDonald.

Meanwhile All About Madi and driver Walter Cheverie won their ‘A’ division event in 1:59.3.  The ownership papers on the filly are held by Leith Waite, Summerside, PE and Leslie and Spencer Waite of Charlottetown, PE.

Glory Jean, under the command of Mark Bradley, won the third Atlantic Sires Stakes event on the afternoon race card in 1:59.4 for owner Blair Hansen of Charlottetown, PE.

Points earned in each Atlantic Sires Stakes ‘A’ division event go towards earning a spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships.
