Atlantic University Sport to decide on Fall Sports Season Soon

The head of Atlantic University Sport says the health and safety of student-athletes is paramount when looking at the possibility of a fall sports season.

Phil Currie, executive director of the AUS, said there is a lot of internal discussions as well as with colleagues across the country and the four provincial public health bodies. He said there is a lot to be considered before a final decision will be made in regards to the fall, though he did say a decision will have to be made soon.

Currie also said they don’t have announcements from all of the AUS institutions in regards to what they are doing in the fall, whether it’s switching to online only or some sort of hybrid, which will also factor into the AUS’s decision.
