The CEO of Paqntnkek’s Bayside Development Corporation, Rose Paul, has received a national award.
At an event in Vancouver last night, Paul was presented with the 2023 Indigenous Women in Leadership Award by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.

It is presented annually to a strong leader, mentor and businesswoman who has been instrumental in making a difference that impacts her community or country.
The Council says Paul has been a tireless advocate for economic growth and has developed strong relationships within clean energy, mining and the sustainable food industry.
