There was a brief lockdown of North Nova Education Centre in New Glasgow on Friday.
Police say shortly before noon, officers were notified of a threat near an adjacent property to the school. Officers went to the property and arrested one man.
The school was placed in a Code Blue Lockdown as a safety precaution.
The lockdown was lifted a short time later after officers concluded there was not threat to the school or community.
