Budget deliberations for the Town of Antigonish are underway.
Antigonish Mayor Sean Cameron noted directors were asked to prepare budgets for their departments. He said they should be close to finalizing the budget by their next regular council meeting in May because they have to set their tax rate and get their budget into the province by the end of June. Discussions will include operational and capital costs as well as their discretionary fund.
