The Canso Lions Club helped support a local trail this week.

Councilor Fin Armsworthy accepts a donation of $2,000.00 from Canso King Lion Paul Horne for the Chapel Gully Trail

King Paul Horne presented a contribution of $2,000 this week on behalf of the Lions to councillor Fin Armsworthy, chair of the Eastern Tip Trail Association for work on the Chapel Gully Trail.

Also this week Horne and Ultrasound Project Chair Ray White visited the Eastern Memorial Hospital to view the new Ultrasound Unit and Cart. The Lions made an initial donation earlier

this year of $10,000 to the project, and the Lions’ International Foundation contributed $27,740. The unit is already being used by local doctors.
