In a meeting with the Premiers this week, Trudeau presented a federal offer that would see transfers to the provinces rise by $196 billion over the next 10 years, including $46.2 billion in new funding.
Kelloway says it’s a monumental announcement.
Kelloway says this announcement gives the provinces more tools to further improve health care.
Kelloway says what he likes about this deal is it further enhances the commitment to the public health system.
