Looking ahead to 2021, Fraser said we are still in the middle of a pandemic. He pointed to the early arrival of vaccines after months of preparation. The message, he says is that before we can move on to better days, we need to strengthen our resolve and follow public health orders.
Fraser said the federal government’s plan is to continue to be there for families and businesses through the pandemic so those families and businesses can help contribute to the eventual recovery. Although he does anticipate a difficult winter from a public health and economic perspective, spring is around the corner and better days are ahead.
