budget that will be welcomed by residents of his riding. Fraser says the budget aims to maintain a focus on defeating COVID-19 as quickly as possible, creating jobs and growth in communities and setting the stage for a recovery. Fraser says in fighting COVID-19 there’s over $4 billion to strengthen provincial health care systems and an additional $1 billion to expedite the roll-out of vaccines.
Fraser, who is Parliamentary Secretary to Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland, says a number of the issues that he heard in pre-budgetary consultations locally and across the country are addressed in this budget.
