Charges have been dismissed against two people charged in January in connection with a 12-month drug trafficking investigation by the RCMP’s Street Crime Enforcement unit.
Recently, a judge ordered charges be dropped against 26-year-old Brydon Christopher MacEachern and 28-year-old Virgina Leigh Gibbons after the Federal Crown Attorney offered no evidence. Both had faced two counts each of possession for the purpose of trafficking. MacEachern faced an additional charged with trafficking.
Three other people were charged in the case.
