Coady International Institute at St. FX University
celebrations. The Coady Institute is hosting Coffee with Coady Saturday morning, where it will honour the Katherine Flemming International Development Award recipients.
Traditionally, the award is presented to an African woman leader in the Coady’s Diploma in Development Leadership program. Acting Coady Executive Director Eileen Alma says although the diploma program hasn’t been offered at the Institute in the past several years, it has presented the award to an African woman leader, usually through its women’s leadership programming. Alma says at the ceremony, recipients from 2021 and 2022 will speak in person and virtually.
The award covers the cost of tuition, accommodation and travel expenses to come to Coady to attend a program. Coffee with Coady will be held at Dennis Hall Saturday morning at 9:30.
