Welcome to our new community events calendar! Here’s what’s happening in our community!

Please submit your event at least two weeks in advance. All posts need to be approved prior to being published and will not show up right away, so please be patient. If you have an event to list, please visit our Submissons page.

Lindsay’s Health Centre for Women @ Antigonish Women's Resource Centre, 219 Main Street

Lindsay’s Health Centre for Women is a partnership of the Guysborough Antigonish Strait Health Authority, the Antigonish Women’s Resource Centre and the medical community. Services are provided by a multi-disciplinary team that includes Mental Health Services, Addictions Services, Public Health Services, the Women’s Centre, a physician and a nurse practitioner. Along with the medical care provided by the physician and nurse practitioner, Lindsay’s Health Centre offers a series of programs that are designed to help women make informed decisions about their health.

Pictou County Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis @ Rotary Park

The Pictou County Gutsy Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis will take place June 4th, at the Rotary Park in New Glasgow. Registration begins at noon with the walk starting at 1 p.m. The Gutsy Walk helps spread awareness and fundraises to find a cure for Crohn’s and Colitis, which affects more than 300,000 Canadians. Come out June 4th at the Rotary Park in New Glasgow to help this great cause. There will be snacks and door prizes to be won for participants.
